Are you a college student in need of an internship in your desired career field? Did you know that Antonia Christianson Events offers internship positions each semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer) for class, practicum/internship, or prerequisite college credit? We have always taken great pride in our internship program, and place a great deal of value and responsibility on our interns. We believe that real working experience and networking in the event world is an invaluable learning experience, and crucial to a future in the social events industry. Some of our former interns have fabulous careers working with companies such as Susan G. Komen For the Cure, The Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, Williamsburg Hospitality House, Samuel Adams, Seattle United Way, Alpha Phi International, Marriott and more!
Our Social Events Intern will assist with both office work and on site execution of events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; emailing and meeting clients, making and sending itineraries, assisting vendors with event set up and tear down, creation of event design, client sales, vendor networking, and more. Our intern candidates should have aspirations to reach a career goal affiliated in the social and corporate industry.
Our Social Media Intern will assist with management and upkeep of company social media and creation of press opportunities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; updating Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, etc. Along with the daily upkeep and creation of blog post material and keeping company website material up to date. Press releases and media inquiries are also fielded through our social media intern. Our intern candidates should have aspirations to reach a career goal in marketing or public relations.

- Must be of Junior or Senior standing at an accredited college or university
- Must be willing to provide references
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the degree fields of Communication, Business, Hospitality, or other relevant degree seeking fields
- Must be for college credit or prerequisite for college class
- Must have weekday and weekend availability
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
