Sometimes you have clients that come to you near the end of their planning process so that you can pull everything together for them…and you hear their amazing list of vendors which immediately makes you think to yourself “Man, This is going to be a good one!” Tara and Justin were one of those client couples! When I first met Tara and her mom, Maria, I knew that the wedding was sure to be stunning! She was having a January wedding at Founders Inn and Spa, with amazing design creations by the always fantastic Isha Foss Events, lighting gorgeousness from Blue Steel Lighting, a House of Maya gown, Stationery from RSVP and Larry D as her DJ. Honestly, I was beyond honored that they wanted us to help with coordination, and they were looking to hire Grant and Deb! This was a definitely going to be a wedding for the books. The 3 months that we had the honor to get to know Tara were awesome. She was so complimentary to us, had awesome ideas, and when we asked for details about the big day, she absolutely shared them with us! Dream clients, for sure!
I could go on and on, but i’m beyond excited to share a few of our very favorite details with you! Obviously, the ceremony location was “Swoonworthy!” Isha really outdid herself with the simplicity of rearranging the “Fireside Lounge” right near the entrance of Founders Inn. Moving all of the turn of the century furniture out of the room, and adding a simple can ballroom chair really transformed the space. There were some simple vintage details throughout the event that were just timeless, and we really loved their fresh jam favors. A little homage to their first date together. Oh! And I obviously could not forget the custom two toned draping in the ceiling of the reception ballroom. It was a subtle color difference, but it was truly gorgeous! I think the pictures speak for themselves. What about you?
